FALL is here and we are ready to celebrate by building Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving themed models with LEGO bricks! Join Holland Township Recreation & Bricks 4 Kidz for a FUN Kidz Night Out event by building your favorite mosaic, 3-D, and technic (moving) models. We will have stations set up for you to enjoy all your favorite activities including model building, perler beads, crafts, games and creative play! Our creative play station will feature a contest in which the best build will win a special prize! We will provide pizza & fruit for dinner for each participant. Each participant will also be able to build a jack-o-lantern with LEGO bricks and pick from their favorite candy... to keep! Who: Boys & Girls ages 5 years old to 12 years old - Date: Friday, October 25, 2024 - Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. - Cost: $35.00 per participant *Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Holland Township Recreation is back for the sixth year in a row with our Elementary School Dance Clinics for the Summer of 2024. Clinics are open to students (boys & girls) in Kindergarten through 5th grade for the upcoming 2024 - 2025 school year. Dancers will work on a variety of dance skills and moves, dancer development and more! Program Fee: $40.00 per participant per clinic, shirt is included. August Clinic Dates: August 5, 6, 7, and 8 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Where: Macatawa Bay Middle School Gymnasium. Registration Deadline: Friday, July 26th @ 5pm.

The West Ottawa Girls Middle School Sideline Cheer Team is ran through Holland Township Recreation as a "Club Sport" - pay to play program, open to 6th, 7th & 8th graders for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Pre-season team practices will be in early August. Exact details will be announced. No team tryouts will be held for the fall 2024 season. Practices, games and coaches are all included in the fee of $90.00 per participant. 

The West Ottawa Rocket Cheerleading program is ran by Holland Township Recreation Department Staff & the West Ottawa Varsity Sideline Cheer team. This program is available for those entering Kindergarten - 5th grade for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Practices will be on Wednesday's from 5:00pm to 6:00pm beginning Wednesday, August 21, site TBA. Saturday Morning games will be in September & early October. $45.00 per participant, a hoodie is included. Deadline to register is Friday, August 16th @ 5pm. More details coming soon!

This program is available to current 4 & 5 year old boys and girls that have an interest in learning the basics skills it takes to play flag football. We will focus on throwing, catching, kicking, punting, proper flag pulling and maybe even some tackling in a station format. This class requires some parent & child interaction depending on the week. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle & dress in athletic attire for class each week. Class size may be limited. Program Dates: Tuesday Evenings @ Quincy Park - September 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6:00pm 7:00pm. Program Fee: $40.00 per participant, includes t-shirt. Registration Deadline: Friday, August 23rd @ 5pm
