A favorite program for all - Intro to Basketball is back this SUMMER for 2023 season! This program is available to current Boys & Girls, that are incoming 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders for the 2023-2024 school year. This program is for those that have an interest in learning the basics skills it takes to play the game of basketball with a fun twist. We will focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and running drills in a station format. This class features Holland Township Recreation Staff. Class size is limited to 30 students per class offered, first come first served basis. Program Dates: July 10, 11, 12 and 13 Times: 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Where: Great Lakes Elementary School Program Fee: $40.00 per participant, shirt included. Registration Deadline: Friday, June 30th @ 5:00pm or when class is full at 30 participants.

For the third year, Holland Township Recreation is offering a Summer Basketball Clinic for incoming 4th, 5th & 6th graders for the upcoming 2023 - 2024 school year this summer. This program will feature some clinic work and instruction from our Holland Township Recreation Staff & include some game play as well. Girls & boys of all abilities are welcome to register. When: July 10, 11, 12 and 13 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Where: Great Lakes Elementary School Limited to 30 participants. Program Fee: $40.00 per participant, includes a shirt. Registration Deadline: Friday, June 30 @ 5:00pm or until the clinic is full.

Holland Township Recreation is offering a Girls Middle School Volleyball League for current incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders (2023 - 2024 school year). Monday/Wednesday Program. Monday Evenings are Practice - July 10, 17, 24, 31, & August 7 and 14. Wednesday Evenings are Games - July 12, 19, 26 & August 2, 9 and 16. Games will be against other area communities including Holland Public, Saugatuck and Fennville. Times: 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Practice & games will be indoors at a site TBA. Registration deadline is Friday, June 23rd @ 5:00pm. $60.00 per participant, includes team shirt. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program!!

Clinics is open to students (boys & girls) in 6th, 7th, 8th grade & 9th graders for the upcoming 2023 - 2024 school year. Dancers will work on a variety of dance skills and moves, dancer development and more! Program Dates: Monday through Thursday Evening. July 17, 18, 19, and 20 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Program Fee: $40.00 per participant per clinic, shirt is included . Where: Site TBA. Registration Deadline: Friday, July 7th @ 5pm.

The Holland Township / West Ottawa Youth Football program is open to 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th graders for the 2023 - 2024 school year. This program is tackle football in a team format league where your child will be placed on a team and have team practices & games (both home and away). We play in the West Michigan Junior Football League. We offer two divisions - 3rd & 4th grade AND 5th & 6th grade. Registration fee is $75.00 per participant and includes the team jersey. Registration deadline is Friday, July 21st @ 5:00pm. The season will begin in early August and will conclude in mid-October. Volunteer head coaches & assistant coaches needed!!!

The West Ottawa Girls Middle School Sideline Cheer Team is ran through Holland Township Recreation as a "Club Sport" - pay to play program, open to 6th, 7th & 8th graders for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Pre-season team practices will be in early August. Exact details will be announced. No team tryouts will be held for the fall 2023 season. Practices, games and coaches are all included in the fee of $90.00 per participant. 

This program is available to current 4 & 5 year old boys and girls that have an interest in learning the basics skills it takes to play t-ball, baseball and softball. We will focus on hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, running and some defense in a station format. This class requires some parent & child interaction depending on the week. Participants are asked to bring their own batting glove, water bottle & dress in athletic attire for class each week. Class size may be limited. Program Dates: Tuesday Evenings @ Quincy Park Softball Fields - July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Program Fee: $40.00 per participant, includes t-shirt. Registration Deadline: Friday, June 23rd @ 5pm.

We will focus on throwing, catching, kicking, punting, proper flag pulling and maybe even some tackling in a station format. This class requires some parent & child interaction depending on the week. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle & dress in athletic attire for class each week. Class size may be limited. Program Dates: Tuesday Evenings @ Quincy Park - September 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 6:00pm 7:00pm. Program Fee: $40.00 per participant, includes t-shirt. Registration Deadline: Friday, August 25th @ 5pm
