Holland Township Recreation is offering an exhibition competitive cheer team opportunity for our 4th & 5th graders for the fall and winter season this year! The season will run from the end of October through early January. Practices will be twice a week on Monday's & Wednesday's from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This team will be performing at the West Ottawa Competitive Cheer Competition as well as some basketball games during half time and other fun events!

The Girls 5th & 6th Grade Basketball League will be playing in a local area West Michigan league traditional 5-on-5 league with featuring other teams from Holland Township / West Ottawa Schools, Zeeland, Holland, Holland Christian, Saugatuck, Fennville and Hamilton. This league will have game play on Saturday mornings during January & February 2025 and team practices on weeknight evenings twice a week on Monday & Thursday evenings. Volunteer head coaches & assistant coaches are needed for this program to be successful!!

The Little Panthers Girls 3rd & 4th Grade League will be playing in an in-house 4-on-4 league with featuring other teams from Holland Township / West Ottawa Schools. This league will have game play on Saturday mornings during January & February 2024 and team practices on Monday Evenings from either 5:30pm to 6:30pm or 6:30pm to 7:30pm beginning on Monday, January 8th . Games will start on Saturday, January 20th. Registration deadline for the program has been extended to Tuesday, January 2nd @ 5pm. Volunteer head coaches & assistant coaches are needed for this program to be successful!!!

The Girls 7th & 8th Grade Basketball League will be playing in a middle school area-wide league with teams from the West Michigan Area. This league is open to current 7th & 8th grade girls. Please note that this is a competitive league. Games will be on Saturday Mornings during the months of November & December. Local travel is required. Volunteer head coaches & assistant coaches are needed to make this program successful. 

The Indoor 5th & 6th Grade Volleyball League will be playing in a local area 6-v-6 league with other teams from Holland Township / West Ottawa Schools, Zeeland Schools, Holland, Hamilton, Saugatuck & Fennville. There will be weeknight team practices on Monday & Thursday nights, with Saturday morning games. Weeknight practices begin the week of October 21st, with games starting on Saturday, November 2nd. Registration deadline for this league is Friday, October 11th @ 5:00pm. Volunteer head coaches & assistant coaches are needed for this program to be successful!!

FALL is here and we are ready to celebrate by building Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving themed models with LEGO bricks! Join Holland Township Recreation & Bricks 4 Kidz for a FUN Kidz Night Out event by building your favorite mosaic, 3-D, and technic (moving) models. We will have stations set up for you to enjoy all your favorite activities including model building, perler beads, crafts, games and creative play! Our creative play station will feature a contest in which the best build will win a special prize! We will provide pizza & fruit for dinner for each participant. Each participant will also be able to build a jack-o-lantern with LEGO bricks and pick from their favorite candy... to keep! Who: Boys & Girls ages 5 years old to 12 years old - Date: Friday, October 25, 2024 - Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. - Cost: $35.00 per participant *Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
