Does your trash overflow during the holiday season? Americans typically generate 25% more waste during the holidays and most of that is recyclable, including Christmas trees.
The Holland Charter Township Parks Department is once again making it easy for residents of Holland Charter Township and Park Township to recycle cut Christmas trees (no artificial trees) by offering a convenient drop-off location at Quincy Park.
The Christmas tree recycling location is now located on the west side of Quincy Park at 4260 144th Avenue, Holland, MIĀ 49424. Follow tree recycling signs to drop-off area. Recycling is open dawn to dusk from December 26th through January 31st. All tinsel, decorations, lights, plastic wrapping, bags and other items must be removed. Trees will go through a chipper. Please limit this to Christmas trees, ONLY!
If you have any questions regarding the Christmas tree recycling program, please contact Holland Charter Township at 616-396-2345 or [email protected].
